Job Summary and Qualifications The Certified Surgical Technologist functions under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs delegated functions. Graduate from high school or equivalent program. Certification from an accredited school of surgical technology required. Current basic life support certification. Minimum of two years’ experience preferred in multiple specialties working as a hospital or ambulatory surgery center surgical scrub tech.
