Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,180 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/24/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant clinical setting License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: At least 1 year in a PCU setting; proficiency in managing titratable drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin Description: This position involves working in a float pool covering multiple units. Clinicians must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts. Candidates must score at least 80% on the exam; failure results in a 6-month Do Not Use status. The float pool includes inpatient care across various medical and surgical departments. Average patient census and ratios apply based on unit assignments. Nurses will utilize nurse aids in all settings to assist with patient care. Monitoring and interpreting cardiac strips is an essential responsibility for nurses in the float pool. The schedule is organized by a designated scheduler and published six weeks in advance. Travelers must be flexible with scheduling and may receive assignments shortly before their shift begins. Every other weekend work is required as well as participation in holiday rotations. There is no call or standby requirement for this role. All scrubs must adhere to a designated color and style as per departmental guidelines. Travelers must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
