01-13-2026 End Date: 04-14-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM),
schedule includes every-other weekend and holiday rotation;
schedule published 6 weeks out for 4-week blocks; standby/on-call
may be required during some shifts Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay

Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality critical care nursing
across ICU, MedSurg Tele and PCU units, making an immediate impact
on patient outcomes Interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias accurately
to guide timely interventions Administer and titrate infusions such
as heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, nitro, dopamine, dobutamine and
insulin safely Deliver post-procedural and post-CABG care,
including groin site management and close hemodynamic monitoring
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate patient
status clearly during floats between campuses Respond to standby
calls and provide rapid, competent care when called in Document
care thoroughly in Cerner and participate in unit-specific
orientation to get up to speed quickly Mentor and work with nurse
aides and monitor techs to ensure excellent patient surveillance
Qualifications Active RN license for the state of Arizona BLS and
ACLS required Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience (unit
requires at least 1 year ICU experience) Comfortable with telemetry
interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition (must pass dysrhythmia
exam with 80% within two attempts prior to contract) Proven
experience with drip titration and managing common critical care
infusions Able to float between ICU, MedSurg Tele and PCU across
campuses and work a flexible night schedule Must meet radius and
affiliation rules (no full-time/part-time/PRN at
CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities within the past year) Education
Active RN license (required) ADN or BSN accepted; BSN preferred but
not required Knowledge & Skills Telemetry/dysrhythmia
interpretation and cardiac monitoring IV drip titration and
critical care medication management Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and
heated high-flow oxygen therapy Familiarity with Cerner electronic
charting Post-procedural and cardiac cath care, including CABG
post-op management Strong assessment skills for geriatric and ortho
patients Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced float pool and
collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams Benefits
