is seeking a skilled Emergency Room (ER) Nurse to provide direct
patient care to an assigned group of ED patients in a fast-paced
environment and work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare
professionals and make a difference in critical moments. We welcome

0.9 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of
America) Responsibilities: Emergency Department (ED) nurses play a
vital role in providing rapid, high-quality care in critical
situations. Here are the core responsibilities you can expect in
this role: Triage and assessment Quickly evaluate incoming patients
to determine severity of illness or injury and prioritize care
accordingly. Monitor vital signs and patient status Regularly check
and record vitals (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature)
and monitor any changes to detect early signs of deterioration.
Stabilization and emergency interventions Provide immediate
treatments such as intravenous (IV) access, airway support (e.g.,
intubation, tracheotomy), immobilization of fractures, suturing, or
hemorrhage control. Medication administration and treatments
Administer medications—including IVs, blood products, or prescribed
therapies—ensuring correct dosing and timely delivery per physician
orders. Diagnostic testing and interpretation Perform or assist
with lab draws, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures; gather
and interpret results to inform care decisions. Collaboration with
multidisciplinary teams Work alongside physicians, paramedics,
techs, and other specialists to develop care plans, refer patients,
and facilitate transfers or admissions. Documentation and charting
Accurately document patient histories, interventions, responses,
vital signs, and discharge instructions—maintaining compliance with
legal and hospital standards. Patient and family communication
Provide clear information, emotional support, and education while
maintaining professionalism and empathy. Infection control and
department upkeep Maintain hygiene standards, properly clean and
restock equipment, and ensure a safe environment to minimize
infection risks. Discharge planning and referrals Assist in
arranging home care, rehabilitation services, specialist
follow-ups, or admissions to psychiatric units as needed. Sign on

Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing State of New Mexico or
Compact State Nursing License BLS certification REQUIRED at time of
