Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,599 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Prescott, Arizona, 86301! Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of full-time experience License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience working in the Operating Room and Cardiovascular Operating Room. Ability to scrub. Description: This position is within a surgery unit that consists of 6 suites plus a hybrid room. The unit handles approximately 20-30 cases per day including total joints, general surgery, spine, urology, and cardiovascular for the open heart team. A charge nurse and specialty leads are available as resources, with a house supervisor on site 24/7. There are scrub techs provided to support the nursing staff. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Shifts are scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a call requirement. For general OR, there are 4-5 nights per 6 weeks, and CVOR has 5-10 weeknight calls. Weekend requirements may involve up to 2 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, with some holiday shifts expected annually. Call is divided equally among staff in similar roles, with travelers starting call duties after the first 1-2 weeks. Response time for call is 30 minutes. There may be occasional floating to assist with tasks in other departments, though this is rare. Hospital-provided scrubs are to be worn. Unit-specific orientation will take place over 3-5 shifts based on case load and exposure.
