We are seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 37-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Nevada. This position starts on Jan 5, 2026, and offers a 2-3 day per week schedule, 8am-5pm with an hour lunch. The role focuses on student health within a college environment, including drug screening, physicals, and medication management. There is a strong likelihood of extension for this assignment. Job Details - Location: Nevada - Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 - LOA: 37 days - Provider Type Needed: Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: 2-3 days per week, 8am-5pm Responsibilities and Duties - Track and conduct drug screenings, physicals, and medication management for college students - Maintain paper charting and ensure student health records are up to date in the database - Perform drug tests as required - Participate in staff meetings (Tuesdays 2-2:30pm, Thursdays 1pm) to review students at risk for behavioral concerns - Collaborate with staff to support student wellness and safety - Utilize experience in psych and med management as needed Additional Information - Active Nevada license required - Experience in a college setting preferred - Comfortable with paper charting and drug testing protocols - Background in psych and medication management is beneficial Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
