Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: NRP, Stable, AWOHN intermediate or advanced, ACLS Must-Have: Labor experience, postpartum care, well baby care, stabilization of critical newborns for transfers. Description: This facility is a state-of-the-art hospital with various medical and surgical services. It is licensed for multiple levels of care including acute rehabilitation and intensive care. The labor, delivery, and post-partum unit consists of all private beds. The emergency department operates 24/7 and is equipped for various urgent care needs. The surgery department includes several operating rooms and endoscopy suites. Diagnostic imaging provides a full range of modalities for both outpatient and inpatient healthcare. The facility utilizes a Picture Archival Communication system to enhance access to high-quality digital images. The labor and delivery unit is equipped with IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, and syringe pumps. The electronic health record system utilized is Med Host combined with Centricity. The patient population primarily includes laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and neonates. Candidates should be adaptable team players with experience in labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum care.
