ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) • Two weekend shifts required per pay period • Night shift positions available • First to float when needed • Must pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts with 80% score prior to contract signing • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS • BSN not required • Must have good EKG reading skills and ability to interpret ABGs • Experience with IABP and Prismaflex CRRT preferred • Must be able to wean and troubleshoot ventilators • Work in multiple units: CVICU (12 beds), COVID ICU (8 beds), MS ICU (8 beds), and PCU (16-20 beds) • Nurse to patient ratios: 1:1-2 in ICU based on acuity, 1:3-4 in PCU • Required to titrate critical care drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and anti-arrhythmics • Handle complex cases including post-surgical, cardiac procedures, CRRT, EVDs, chest tubes, and art lines • May float to PCU, MST, and EC ICU/PCU as needed in rotation with core staff • Professional scrubs required (any color except camo, transitioning to navy in October) • 8-hour general orientation plus two 12-hour shifts with preceptor/buddy support • May be placed on call during low census periods • One winter holiday and one holiday eve required • Charting system: Cerner Facility: This medical center features a comprehensive critical care service line with multiple specialized units including cardiovascular ICU, COVID ICU, medical-surgical ICU, and progressive care units.
