Accurately dispense prescription medications, ensuring optimal patient safety while maintaining compliance with all regulatory policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by counseling patients on medication usage and side effects, and handling inquiries and complaints efficiently and compassionately. Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and verifying medication stock to ensure availability of necessary medications. Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure adherence to all pharmacy regulations and high-quality customer service. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care through effective communication and care coordination. Conduct health and wellness screenings, and administer vaccinations as permitted by state regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for customers and staff. Strong knowledge of medication and its effects, pharmaceutical calculations, and drug use management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively explaining complex issues in a clear and compassionate manner. Proficiency in operating pharmacy management software and maintaining detailed records of medication and patient information. Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of employment. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Immunization Certification as per state requirement.
