Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Prescott,

Ability to read basic telemetry strips - Some experience with
general and orthopedic surgical patients - Experience with CVA and
TIA - Cerner experience recommended Description: The unit
specializes in telemetry and surgical/neuro care. It consists of 48
beds divided into two sections. Staffing ratios are 1 RN to 5
patients. Common patient diagnoses include COVID, respiratory
issues, GI problems, diabetes, TIA, CVA, as well as general,
orthopedic, and spinal surgical patients. Registered Nurses are
required to interpret telemetry strips. Telemetry is monitored
remotely, with monitor techs available on-site. Charge Nurses do
not take patient assignments. There are nurse aides available on
the unit with ratios of 1 aide to 10-15 patients. The unit is
equipped with Bipap, Cpap, high flow devices, and some respiratory
treatments. Shifts are 12 hours long, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with
a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Self-scheduling is utilized, but
schedules are balanced at management’s discretion. There is a
weekend requirement of two weekends per four-week schedule. For
holidays such as Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving, staff are
expected to work two days and one evening or two evenings and one
day. Floating to other units may occur, should qualifications
permit. Scrub color and dress code are navy blue scrubs. Nurses are
required to complete unit-specific orientation for one shift. No
call or standby is required in this position. 5 Benefits of Travel
