Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct an Occupational Therapy
evaluation or screen. - Develop an individualized Plan of Care with
functional goals. - Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plan as
necessary - Document the course of patient care including progress
made and the continuing need for treatment. - Provide patient
and/or family education to help achieve goals. - Adhere to the
Attendance Policy. - Communicate and demonstrate a professional
image for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others. -
Adhere to policies, rules, and regulations from the facility,
Arizona State Board of Occupational Therapy, and Medicare. - Assist
with orientation of new staff as requested. - Meets requirements
for skills competency and safety. - Participate in continuing
education/professional development activities. - Assist with the
Occupational Therapy and Assistant student program. - Participate
in staff meetings, client relation and marketing activities. -
Documentation is complete and accurate, meeting all facility,
Arizona State Board of Occupational Therapy, and Medicare
regulatory requirements.
