Job Description:

Intensive Care Unit Nurses must provide top end care for patients with life-threatening injuries. Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses must have the ability to make timely and accurate decisions while keeping composed during unpredictable, traumatic events.Responsibilities:Intensive Care Unit Nurses responsibilities consist of:

Analyzing the progress of the patient.
Taking needed steps if there are any changes in the patient's condition.
Helping doctors with procedures.
Ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly while taking care of patients.
Dispensing necessary medication in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
Providing emotional support while updating family members of current health status of the patient.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse within the past two years.
- Active Nursing License in good standing.
- Current BLS from American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
