Job Description Job Description Desert Ready Mix is a well-established company in Arizona. We have been open since 2014. We are looking for a Batch Plant Operator for our Nevada location. At Desert Ready Mix we are always looking for operators with great work ethic and a friendly attitude. Batch Plant Operator performs various tasks at the concrete batch plant but primarily will be loading ready mix concrete is to mixers. Job Responsibilities: Maintain concrete batch plant in a clean, organized, and safe fashion. Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and Company regulations. Wear all PPE (hard hat, vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.). Perform walk around inspection of assigned equipment and repairs as needed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop or crouch. The employee is required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
