Job Description:
$55,000 - $70,000 a year Summary The Inflight Standards &
Compliance Specialist supports the development, monitoring, and
maintenance of training programs to ensure they comply with Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and
industry standards. This role focuses on auditing, record-keeping,
and assisting in the creation of standardized procedures. This
position drives changes to standards and training based on data
derived from safety event reports and event debriefs. They
collaborate with the Inflight Standards & Compliance Manager,
curriculum team, and instructors to uphold a culture of safety,
quality, and excellence. Visa Sponsorship Available No Minimum
Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be
considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the
Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Education Details: Bachelor's degree
in related field. Certification: Yes Certification Details: Must
pass Allegiant Flight Attendant Training and maintain currency.
Years of Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience as a
flight attendant. Minimum two (2) years of aviation safety and/or

products, and the ability to learn other software platforms.
Preferred Requirements • Knowledge of airline, regulatory,
Allegiant, and Inflight policies and procedures and other
departmental policies and procedures requiring Inflight interface.
• Knowledge of FAA, Transportation Security Administration (TSA),
Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA), Americans with Disabilities (ADA), Air
Carrier Access Act (ACAA), and other applicable government
regulations and directives to include Advisory Circulars (ACs),
Information for Operators (INFOs), and Safety Alerts for Operators
(SAFOs). Job Duties • Research, write, revise, and edit policy and
standard operating procedures. • Assist in ensuring all Inflight
training programs align with FAA regulations, company policies, and
industry standards. • Conduct routine audits of training sessions,
materials, and processes to identify compliance gaps. • Monitor
regulatory updates and assist in implementing necessary changes in
training programs. • Assist in creating and maintaining quality
assurance checklists and reports. Prepare reports on compliance
metrics and quality assurance findings. • Work closely with the
Inflight Standards & Compliance Manager to support departmental
goals. • Manage the internal and external revision process for the
Flight Attendant Manual (FAM) and the Inflight Training Manual
(IFTM), as well as the Manual Change Requests (MCR) administration
process for the Inflight Management Reference Guide (IMRG) and
Inflight Fatigue Risk Management Program (I-FRMP). • Serve as the
point of contact for all safety events up to a ‘moderate’ finding –
including Internal Evaluation Program (IEP) findings,
non-conformance, SERI and IDR reports events. • Act as a liaison
with the FAA Cabin Safety Inspector (CSI) regarding FAM and IFTM
revisions as necessary. • Ensure FAM maintains regulatory
compliance and adheres to industry best practice and technical
style guidelines. • Ensure FAM policy and procedure updates are
communicated to the Inflight Training department and serves as a
quality control for training courseware updates. • Point of contact
for updating and managing the distribution of the Allegiant
Inflight Safety card. • Review regulatory updates to include
Advisory Circulars, INFOs and SAFOs, and determine the impact and
necessary changes to standard operating procedures. • Manage the
Inflight Bulletin process, including inclusion in the FAM revision
process. • Interface with Safety, Flight Operations, Maintenance,
Stations, and other departments to ensure consistency and
compliance with policies and procedures. • Partner with the Safety
team and serve as the Inflight liaison and Subject Matter Expert
(SME) on all crew debriefs, policy refreshers, and required
re-training events based on safety reports. • Manage the
communication and coordination of required re-training events with
the training department. • Support and maintain items necessary to
support the Cabin Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) to include manual
update compliance reports, applicable computer based training, and
other items as required. • Maintain the Computer Based Training
(CBT) compliance report and communicates to Flight Attendant group
to gain 100% compliance. • Coordinate with Inflight Base Leaders to
communicate action items and lessons learned from ATS line audits
for the monthly Inflight Insights communication. • Evaluate and
recommends which debrief events should be communicated to the
Flight Attendant group and assists with the drafting of these
communications. • Maintain the Customer Policy Manual and serves as
the Inflight liaison with the Customer Experience Leadership Team
(CELT). • Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal
actions and when providing direction. • Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member
is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop,
kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board,
printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry
up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a
24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role.
Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers,
phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light
fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the
ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of
time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role. Essential
