What we're looking for:

We seek to hire a Senior Commercial Project Manager for our Rail Infrastructure business to support exciting large-scale high-speed railway projects. You will be fully accountable to the commercial and financial management through the project execution as you collaborate with internal and external partners. An ability to multi-task and handle challenging deadlines will be critical to the role.

This role is based out of Las Vegas, NV, but will include approximately 10% travel to visit our domestic suppliers and partners throughout the projects you will support. The project scope is centered around the full spectrum of Rail Signaling and Communication.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Leading projects by managing budget, and monitoring project financial status based on planned delivery schedule and resources.
  • Perform financial planning, forecasting, controlling, and reconciliation of project cash flow and standard deviation analysis using SAP.
  • Implement and drive measures to improve project performance (claims management and contract management).
  • Monitor and communicate trends, assess implications, and develop strategies.
  • Ability to lead the administrative side of projects such as invoicing, booking, and monitoring/controlling budget spending in procurement.
  • Work with multi-functional teams (Project Managers, Legal, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, HR, etc.) to manage financial goals and drive better efficiency and productivity on proposals and ongoing projects.
  • Recommend, implement, and report on financial and operating performance.
  • Assist in producing and analyzing financial reports impacting the Company's performance.
    To thrive in this role, you have:
    • Long-term experience (5+ years) in managing complex international projects.
    • Bachelor's degree required, with a major in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting preferred; CPA, MBA, or MS a plus.
    • CPM certification for level C or B projects preferred
    • Railway project experience as well as exposure to general accounting and cost accounting are preferred.
    • Advanced analytical abilities, financial modeling, strong Microsoft Excel, Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP a plus), and strong business modeling skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills while interacting at all levels of the organization.

The base salary range for this position in Las Vegas, NV, is $107,500 - $145,000, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The compensation may be lower or higher depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
